There are many ladies brilliantly wearing a kimono, because it was the first day of The special performance. It is sophisticated that they pick a design of the sparrow, early blooming cherry blossom, and snow ring which comes from the actor's name, title of the play and character's name on the kimono or belt. Mrs. Tamao, new Jakuemon's wife wore the flower basket and sparrow designed kimono . It was specially prepared for this day. New Jakuemon excellently played Yukihime on the beautiful and dreamy stage. The new "Ohimesama yakusya"(Kabuki actor of princess role) shows up!
